Community Manager

The Community Manager is responsible for managing operations at Zeta House. They are the first point of contact for all inquiries and management of the facilities. Their primary responsibility is for the smooth, safe, and secure operation of the coliving and coworking space for the residents at Zeta House. Their secondary reponsibility is to plan ahead of time to schedule and coordinate operational events and activities. Their tertiary responsibility is to organise community events, engage the wider public about Zeta House in terms of marketing and communications.

These responsibilties are in priority order.

  1. Primary - Smooth, Safe, Secure Operation of Coliving and Coworking
  2. Secondary - Planning, Scheduling, Coordinating Operational Events and Activities
  3. Tertiary - Social Events, Marketing and Communications

Only when the primary is achieved, should the secondary be considered, and also when the secondary is achieved should the tertiary be considered.

It is expected that the duties of the Community Manager should not take more than 5 hours per week.

It is expected that the Community Manager lives on-site.

Furthermore when the Community Manager is unavailable because of vacation or sickness, their leave must be co-ordinated with the rest of the management of Zeta House, and an subordinate must be in place to take care of the property temporarily while the Community Manager is unavailable. Notice must be provided.

The Community Manager is provided a discounted rate of rent while operating as the Community Manager.

Community Manager Agreement​

TBD - legal agreement as an amendment to the rental lease agreement. So it overrides the prior agreement. Must reference it, and provide a specific monetary discount with the agreed duties as specified here.
